Why I like Jim Edwards
I've taken part in several discussions on forums recently about the excessive hype surrounding Internet marketing and the frustration newcomers feel when trying to wade through the mountains of garbage.
There's no doubt that Internet Marketers are some of the most aggressive marketers around and that turns a lot of people off. For a newbie, it's impossible to sort out the hype from the decent information.
I gave up as long time ago trying to keep up with every IM product and IM marketing "guru" that came along. I don't have time to work if I let them distract me every five minutes with a bunch of new promises.
For me to move my business forward I needed to apply what I have learned instead of spinning my wheels trying to understand something new or worse yet, waste time studying re-hashed material.
One thing that would have really helped in my journey to internet business success was if I had known in the beginning that it was better to listen to just one person and not try to integrate a dozen differing philosophies.
Of course back then, I didn't know who was trustworthy so I thought I had to check them all out and weed out the scum. Over time, I came to trust several people but Jim Edwards was chief among them. In part because I feel like he is more willing to be bluntly honest and he creates his own content so he doesn't have to rely on hyping other people's products.
Jim's best product is his membership site, the Net Reporter. I've been a member since he opened it and I think it contains an incredibly valuable treasure trove of information. It's the meat and potatoes information you need to get a small web business going.
I wish a little fairy had whispered in my ear when I was starting out business, "Lorraine, don't waste your time studying all this stuff, go to The Net Reporter and study THAT guy…the own wearing the gaudy Hawaiian shirt. He's got what you need to know and you can just ignore the rest!"
Had I been so lucky as to follow such fairy advice, I would've saved myself hassle and make money sooner. Oh well, too late for me. But it's not too late for you! If you're looking for a broad-based expert to guide you in building a business, I recommend Jim Edwards of the Net Reporter.
