INTERNET VIDEO SHARING SITES, a review of DailyMotion.com
By Internet Video Gal in Business Marketing with Video, Online Videos

Free video hosting sounds like an Internet business owner’s dream, and to a large extent it is. However, not all video sharing sites are the same. Many cater to the biggest demographic glued to the Internet TV, teens. It’s not going to do you much good to upload your instructional golf video to a site that specializes in adolescent humor.
Virtually all free video sharing sites have tons of silly videos, crazy videos and mindless videos. That’s just the state of the Internet video world, but you need to find a site that offers a larger potential audience than that and many do.
One such site is www.DailyMotion.com. Daily Motion has twenty-six categories of video, so they cover everything from dating to extreme sports to politics. Most importantly, they have a category specifically for businesses to show off their services and another for displaying ads.
The business category is chock full of small and large businesses demonstrating their products and getting to know their customers personally. Some folks have put up personal profiles of themselves as business owners. Now that’s not quite as good as getting interviewed on The Big Idea by Donny Deutsch from CNBC, but it’s something we can all realistically do and get ourselves out there building those all important relationships.
Daily motion is a top-notch web site that’s free and easy to use. It is owned and operated by a French corporation in Paris and has a staff of about sixty people. Their mission is to expand online video and provide a site that covers any topic or idea. They’ve done a good job.
Upload w/Traffic Geyser!
They allow videos of up to twenty minutes in length and 150 MB in file size. YouTube has put a limit of ten minutes and 100 MB on their video uploads, so DailyMotion is more generous. Although daily motion restricts the size of each individual video, they gives you unlimited storage space.
The site is also organized well and easy to navigate. You can quickly find what you’re looking for.
www.DailyMotion.com might very well be one of the best video sharing sites for Internet marketers who want to take advantage of video marketing.
The twenty-six categories offered by daily motion are:
1. News
2. Funny
3. Film shorts, amateur and pro
4. Music
5. Auto
6. Flirts
7. Arts
8. Extreme sports
9. Gaming
10. Web Cam
11. Travel
12. Sports
13. Family
14. Advertisements
15. Politics & Society
16. Blog
17. Animals
18. People
19. 3-D animations
20. Dating
21. Business
22. Parties
23. Urban Streets
24. Science & Technology
25. School
26. Events
Now with an extensive list like that, no doubt you can find a home for your internet marketing video, and to upload your favorite video use the best software on the planet… Traffic Geyser!

Upload your own unique MXit video and win $5000
I recently seen this advertisement on the new MXit website mxitmovies.com
Initially I thought to myself, “yeh right… someone’s going to give you $5000
Just by uploading a video on there website”.
I promise you…MXit is really running this competition.
Well actually, its more like:
First Prize $5000.00 for the top rated video
Second Prize $2000.00 for the second best video
Third Prize $500.00 for the third best video
The craziest thing is that I know that my video will make top rank
Compared to the “17” uploaded videos…..
And all I had to do was to obviously register which took me like 2 mins
And start uploading.
Just thought I should share…
Oh and heres the link:
