Learning video production gives you the talents necessary to entertain and communicate using the single best tool ever known to mankind, moving pictures with sound.
Pardon me if that sounds syrupy, but it is true.
Television, movies and videos knock the socks off print-only or audio-only communication methods.
I am honored to have the opportunity to share my 30-years worth knowledge with you so you can have as much fun as I do creating videos!

Here's me, on VACATION, with the ever-present shoulder camera.
But I am humble enough to acknowledge that I can not teach you everything you probably want to know. I’m trying! But there are a lot of talented people out there.
I search out resources and pass them on if I think they are legitimate and credible.
What I WON’T pass on is overpriced information products produced by “web video gurus” who really don’t know what the BLEEP they’re doing.
There’s a bunch of them out there ladies and gentlemen! Steer clear.
Here’s a place where you can get awesome, detailed, information on video production produced by people who have incredible credentials, GeniusDV. They are one of my sources of info.
GeniusDV features hundreds of articles, tutorials, and videos aimed at the serious beginner, and intermediate to advanced interest-level audience. Genius Dv concentrates on digital video streaming and video editing software, like Final Cut, Avid Media Composer, and After Effects.
In addition to online help, much of it free, they have classes, discs and programs for sale. They also come to you. Genius DV is well-known for on-site, one-on-one training all over America and Canada.
As I design content for this blog, I aim most of my video production tips to people who are just beginning. Genius DV is an incredible place to go if my stuff seems too easy for you. (If you do think it’s too easy, let me know so I can accommodate.)
I hope this information helps you learn more about the art and science of video production.
