For a low-budget video editing program, iMovie is very popular. Every video expert I have every spoken with thinks it is an excellent video program. That’s because it is easy to use and has more functions than its Microsoft counterpart, Windows Movie Maker. iMovie comes free on a Mac with purchase. Without purchase, it comes bundled with three other programs in a package called iLife. iLife has iMovie, iPhoto, Garage Band and iWeb. The package retails for $79.
