I’m thrilled to be able to finally announce my free video production tips home study course!
It has over an hour of video tutorials that cover everything about how to make incredible videos.
Putting this course together was a joy for me. It’s based on one of my FAVORITE video projects of all time, An Enchanting Holiday.
An Enchanting Holiday is a ten minute original comedy Christmas special produced by my advanced Video Production students when I taught in a Tennessee high school.
Everyone loved this little show and it won heaps of awards. Honestly, I was surprised as all get-out by the popularity of this show, but it was indeed universal! (Even that stodgy old principal liked it, least he said he did.) Enchanting Holiday won about half a dozen separate awards, including two national ones. The School Board and the County Commission BOTH gave our entire class medals! It was something else.
For the free Video Production Home Study Course, I analyze the making of Enchanting Holiday from both a technical perspective and a storytelling standpoint. I explain how the editing digital special effects were done, how we lit the scenes, how we created the sets, how we organized the entire show from start to finish. I also explain how we brainstormed the ideas, developed the characters and expanded the plot lines.
The entire Home Study Course contains over an hour of fun-to-watch online videos. I promise after watching them, you will never look at TV or Video the same way!
One of the best ways to learn how to make video is to analyze other videos to see how they were done. Doing so helps you develop a critical new eye for everything you watch. This turns watching TV into an educational activity!
Making video is tons of fun and I’d love to help you learn how. All without charging you a penny!
Between my free home study course and this blog, video production tips, I guarantee you can find ALL the information you need to start making your own videos from scratch!

Thanks Richard. That is a great compliment! I’m very flattered that you liked the video so much. It was fun to make. The music is one of Mike Stewart’s two-buck themes. The tune really sets the video off.
Enjoy the free course!
